At least six people were killed and a handful was harmed after a shooting in Highland Park, Ill., according to a tweeted police explanation.

Lake County Sheriff’s officers thought the shooter was portrayed as a white male between the ages of 18 and 20, with long black hair and a short appearance.

The division expressed that several police, and government aides, remain at the scene in search of the suspect.

Observers in space told The Associated Press they saw blood-soaked bodies covered with a cover.

In the Chicago Sun-Times, Washington department boss Lynn Sweet, who was in the procession, caught the confusion that resulted in a video of the gunfire being emitted.

A media source elaborated that 10 minutes after the procession started, a shooter started shooting. Some observers in space say that they have heard several types of shots coming out. One told the Sun-Times that he counted more than 20 shots discharged.

Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker told nearby TV station ABC7 Chicago: “Sadly, as you may be aware, we have a working shooter situation on his motorcycle in Highland Park. It is estimated that nine people were shot. Yes. I am getting the report.”

In a proclamation given by the city, officials say what is happening is as yet a “working episode”.
