India has been ranked sixth on the list of Worldwide Mobile Data Pricing 2022. This is due to the mega spectrum auction for 5G. Saint Helena, the Falkland Islands, So Tomé and Prncipe, Tokelau, and Yemen are the five most costly destinations for mobile data. Four of the five nations are located on islands, with the other two in Sub-Saharan Africa. This is also the second most costly of the 13 worldwide areas, with an average price of $4.47.
The cheapest nations have excellent infrastructure and a large population that is reliant on them. Countries with the greatest expenses have limited consumption and poor infrastructure.
