Motorola is getting ready to release the Moto Razr 2022 and the Moto X30 Pro in China tomorrow, August 2. The Razr 2022 will be a foldable clamshell device, and the Moto X30 Pro will be a flagship phone with the first 200MP camera on a phone in the world. On the other hand, the company is getting ready to release the Motorola S30 Pro, a new S series device.
The Motorola S30 Pro was seen on TENAA before, where most of the important specs, like the display, RAM, storage, and more, were listed. Now, the same device has been found in the Geekbench database, which shows details like the chipset, RAM, and operating system. Let’s look at what’s going on.
Specifications for the Motorola S30 Pro were leaked through a Geekbench listing.
On Geekbench, the new Motorola phone with the model number XT2243-2 has been listed. This is S30 Pro, which has the same model number as the TENAA. Even though TENAA didn’t tell us much about the phone’s chipset. The Geekbench listing tells us everything we need to know. The S30 Pro will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm SoC with four cores that run at 1.8GHz, three cores that run at 2.42GHz, and one prime core that runs at 3GHz. The Adreno 660 GPU and Snapdragon 888+ SoC work together to handle games and graphics.
Also, the Geekbench listing shows that the phone has 12GB of RAM and will run Android 12 right out of the box. The phone got 1179 points in the single-core test and 3638 points in the multi-core test.
TENAA says that the S30 Pro will have a 6.55-inch Full HD+ OLED screen with a resolution of 24001080 pixels. The phone is said to have storage options of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB of RAM, and 8, 12, or 16GB of RAM. The phone will have a 4270mAh battery, and leaks suggest that it will be able to charge quickly at 68.2W. In some places, like India, the same device is also expected to come out as the Motorola Edge 30 Fusion.
